Baked Apple Dessert

Ingredients

Apples
Cinnamon
Almonds or Granola (optional)
1 Scoop of Whey Crisps

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Peel apples, and chop them up. I like fuji, honey crisp and gala. Next add some cinnamon to your liking. Put in a baking dish. Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until desired consistency. Top with slivered almonds or granola for some crunch.

Coconut Pineapple Treat

Ingredients
Crust

½ cup Butter, softened
¼ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
½ cup All Purpose Flour
⅓ cup Whey Crisps, natural or chocolate
¼ cup Walnuts

Filling

1 cup Crushed Pineapple, well drained
1 Apple, medium, skinned, cored, chopped
½ cup Cranberries
1 Egg
¼ cup Sugar
¼ tsp Apple Pie Spice
1 Tbsp Butter, softened
1 tsp Cornstarch
⅓ cup whey crisps, natural or chocolate
1½ cups Coconut, flaked
¼ cup Walnuts, chopped

Directions

1. Combine crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press into a greased 9 inch square pan or pie pan. Bake 12 minutes at 350°F.

2. Spread pineapple, apple and cranberries over crust.

3. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over fruit. Bake 25 minutes at 350°F. Cool.

4. Cut into 8 servings.

Heavenly Crisp

Ingredients

4 cups Apples, tart, sliced*
⅓ cup Splenda® Brown Sugar Blend**
⅓ cup Whole Wheat Flour
½ cup Old Fashioned Oats
¾ tsp Cinnamon
¾ tsp Nutmeg
⅓ cup Whey Crisps, natural or chocolate
⅓ cup Smart Balance® Spread**

Directions

1. Arrange apples in greased 8 inch square pan.

2. Mix remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over apples.

3. Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender. Serve warm and, if desired, with whipped cream or ice cream.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients
Crust

1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
2 Tbsp Sugar
3 Tbsp Butter, melted
1 scoop, Whey Crisps Natural, ground

Filling

4 ounces Light Cream Cheese
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 pkg Sugar Free White Chocolate Pudding
⅔ cup Skim Milk
1½ cup Whipped Topping
2 cups Strawberries, sliced

Directions

1. Combine crust ingredients until well blended. Distribute evenly among 8 6-ounce custard cups (about 2-3 Tbsp per cup). Press mixture evenly into bottom and about half way up the sides of the cups.

2. Place cups on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 7 minutes. Let cool.

3. Beat cream cheese with sugar. Add pudding mix to cream cheese mixture with milk and mix on high speed until smooth. Stir in whipped topping. Fold in strawberries.

4. Spoon mixture into cooled cups. Cover with plastic or foil and refrigerate 4 hours. Serve with additional whipped topping and sliced strawberries, if desired.

Fruit & Nut Protein Bar – Cherry Almond

Ingredients
1⅓ cups Dried Cherries
⅓ cup Dates, whole pitted
¼ cup Almonds, sliced
⅔ cup Whey Crisps, natural unflavored
1-2 Tbsp Water

Directions
1. Place dried cherries and dates in food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. Add sliced almonds and pulse several times.

2. Place fruit/nut mixture into mixing bowl. Add Whey Crisps and mix on low speed until evenly incorporated, adding water only as needed to aid mixing.

3. Press mixture into a lightly greased 8”x4” loaf pan. Let sit 15 minutes. Cut into 6 bars. Wrap in plastic wrap or waxed paper.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 6 servings

Yogurt Power Parfait

Ingredients:
8 oz low fat vanilla yogurt
½ scoop whey crisps
¼ c low fat granola
½ c sliced banana

Directions:
Mix yogurt and whey crisps. In a bowl or tall glass, layer the yogurt, granola and fruit two to three times.

Top with more whey crisps and enjoy!

Baked Apples

Ingredients:
4 large apples, cored
2 packets of Stevia
2 Tbsp. water
Pinch of cinnamon
Whey Crisps Natural

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Core the apples, being careful not to cut clear to the bottom, and pare a strip from the top of each. Place in an 8×8 inch baking dish.

Dissolve the Stevia in the 2 Tbsp. of water. Divide into four portions and put
1/2 Tbsp. of sugar/water mixture into each apple with whey crisps. Sprinkle each with a pinch of cinnamon.

Pour 1 C. of water around the apples and bake uncovered for 45-60 min.

You may add additional drops of Vanilla Crème Stevia to the finished product.

Serves 4

Whey Parfait

Ingredients:
I large banana, sliced
½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced
¼ cup pineapple, chopped
2 cup non fat vanilla yogurt
½ cup oats
1 scoop whey crisps
¼ cup blueberries
tbp of brown sugar
Extra: Goji berries

Directions:
Throw 2 cubes of ice and two cups of non fat yogurt into the blender; blend until ice is completly crushed.

Take ½ cup of oats and scoop of whey crisps, and place it in a oven tray layered with tin foil, and loosely sprinkle a tablespoon of brown sugar. Heat oven to 500F and leave in for about 10 mins

Take crispy and warm oats/whey crisps and place in the bottom layer of cup, then put in the yogurt until cup is approximately ¼ full.

Next place a layer of your desired fruit blueberries or strawberries until cup is approximately
half full.

Then fill cup with the remaining amount of yogurt until cup is approximately ¾ full, then apply the final layer with the remaining amount of whey crisps and oats.

Finally, neatly place pineapple pieces, and banana slices on top of the oats/crisps. If desired place a few goji berries to enhance visual appeal, as well as make your dessert into a healthy anti-oxidizing treat.

Apple Schnapple Whey Crisps

Ingredients:
1 medium apple or pear
3 cups apple juice or cider
1 and 1/3 cups Whey Crisps
1/4 cup raisins or chopped pitted dates
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
milk (if you like)
brown sugar (if you like)

Directions:
On a cutting board, use a sharp knife to cut the apple or pear into 4 pieces. Cut out the core and throw it away. Chop each piece.

In a saucepan, put the chopped apple or pear, apple juice or cider, crisps, raisins or dates, and cinnamon. Stir with a wooden spoon to mix. Put the pan on the burner. Turn the burner to medium-high heat. Cook just till bubbly. Turn the burner to low. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring now and then. Turn off the burner. Remove the saucepan from the burner.

With a large spoon, put the whey crisps into 4 cereal bowls. Serve immediately with milk and brown sugar, if you like.

This can also be made in the microwave. Just reduce the liquid to 2 and 1/2 cups. Microwave the stirred ingredients on high for 3 minutes in a covered microwaveable 2-quart casserole dish. Stir and microwave 3 minutes more.

The Best Berry Cobbler You’ll Eat!

Ingredients:
Topping:
2 scoops Whey Crisps slightly crushed up
1 cup Oats
3 Tablespoons canola oil
1/2 cup splenda
Mix together and set aside.

Berry Mixture:
30oz of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) (frozen is fine)
1 cup splenda
1 Tablespoon corn starch
optional: 1 scoop protein powder (any berry flavor or unflavored works)

Directions:
Put berries into large glass lasagna tray with all the juices and try to get them as level as possible. Cover completely with topping and smooth the topping out. Cover with tinfoil and bake @ 350 for 10 minutes then remove tinfoil and cook @ 375 until topping starts turning golden.

Let cool for a few minutes and eat!
