Ingredients
1 lb Feta Cheese
¼ cup Whey Crisps, natural
½ cup Water
1 Tbsp Basil
¼ tsp White Pepper
16 oz Phyllo Dough Sheets
¼ cup Butter, melted
Directions
1. Crumble feta cheese into a small bowl; mash with a fork. Stir in whey crisps, water, basil and white pepper until well mixed.
2. Cut stack of phyllo dough sheets lengthwise into thirds. Cover with waxed paper, then with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out.
3. For each triangle, use 2 strips of phyllo. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of cheese mixture on end of a strip; fold phyllo strip end over end, in triangular shape, to the opposite end (like when folding a flag). Place on a greased cookie sheet. Brush butter over triangles.
4. Bake at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden. Serve warm.
